Let’s play a game. I'll read out five “did you know” statements, and you guess which ones are true and which ones are false...ready let’s go.
Did you know that as of September 2025, over 12 people in the United States have had chips implanted into their brains to give them sight, hearing, or mobile capabilities and that Elon Musk predicts ‘hundreds of millions' of people will have his brain chips within the next few years? (biblical text to explore)
Did you know that as of 2024, more than 50,000 people worldwide have been surgically microchipped between their thumb and index finger to serve as their swipe keys, credit cards, and a means to instantaneously share social media information? (biblical text to explore)
Did you know that over 13 U.S. states have enacted legislation to preemptively ban employers from forcing workers to be “microchipped?” (biblical text to explore)
Did you know that the IRON humanoid robot was unveiled at an AI Day event in November 2025, has a frame modeled on a human spine and muscles. It's synthetic muscles can stretch and contract, giving it natural, fluid motion. The robot's human-like strut was so lifelike that people insisted a real person must be hidden inside the synthetic skin (biblical text to explore).
Did you know data from the American Meteor Society (AMS) indicates that Q1 2026 recorded 2,322 fireball events.. a significant fraction of these events produced sonic booms, which is unusual compared to previous years, and there has been an increase concentrated at the top end of the witness-count distribution, where the brightest and most widely observed events are found. (biblical text to explore)
Okay, so which one is totally made up???
Believe it or not, they are all 100% real! Now, I can imagine what you might be thinking...what, how, when did this happen! I thought I was up with the times. Maybe you use chat-gpt to draft your emails and plan vacations; you ask Alexa to turn off your lights and order your groceries, and you no longer vacuum your floors because you’ve delegated that to your new Roomba auto-vacuum.
You are tech savvy.
But in a world where everything seems to be changing at lightning speed, it can be almost impossible to sift through the noise and understand what’s going on, and what’s actually worth your focus.
Plus with everything constantly changing, many people find it more comforting to check out altogether – we numb out on tic-toc or other mindless activities, because being in the know just feels too stressful, plus what can you do about it anyways.
But what if with all this numbing, you’re missing critical insights that could change life as you know it, and what if that lack of awareness means you won’t be prepared for what’s up ahead?
A Framework for Navigating Change
I work in the field of change management, which means I know a good amount about helping people navigate through all kinds of change. The primary “levers” I use to help people adopt changes are communication (making sure people have the right information at the right time), training (making sure people understand how to respond to the change), and stakeholder engagement (making sure I am actively connecting with stakeholders, which are simply people who are impacted by the change. The purpose of this connection is to foster collaboration, trust, and alignment for successful outcomes. A key part of stakeholder engagement also means having change champions and early adopters to help people understand, accept, and implement change initiatives. Whether I’m supporting teams through people, process, technology, or culture changes, a best practice I always apply is to share the destination or in consulting what we call the “North Star” and outlining the roadmap of how we will get there. My goal is to move people along the change journey from simple awareness all the way to successful adoption. Having clarity on what to expect and what to look for is proven to help people feel more comfortable about the journey and also helps to ensure people are prepared to adopt the change once the change goes into effect. In addition to the roadmap, I share key success metrics, so everyone can be on the same page about how to tell if we’re meeting our change goals.
Ultimate success in change management means I help to bring people through five key phases: awareness of why the change is needed, desire to willingly participate and support the change, knowledge of what the change will entail, ability to adopt the change, and finally adoption and reinforcement once the change has been implemented, often followed by an effort to scale depending on the change.
What I just laid out is the industry standard for effective change management, so it’s no surprise that the Bible applies this same framework. “How so,” you ask and “what does that have to do with those bizarre did you know statements?
Well stick with me and let me explain!
A Change Journey Use Case
Let’s first use the initial coming of the Messiah as our use case. If we look through a change management lens, we would see the resurrection of the Messiah as the change destination or North Star, with key milestones along the way beginning with the awareness communication provided by way of prophecies.
God orchestrated the coming of the Messiah as a long-planned transformational change, unfolding over more than 1,500 years through prophetic communication. Across this period, over 300 prophetic references helped to build Awareness of humanity’s need for redemption while simultaneously shaping Desire by communicating key messages about what the Messiah would bring—justice, peace, healing, and forgiveness like the messages in Isaiah 9:6–7 and Jeremiah 23:5-6.
Additional explicit details were provided between roughly 700 - 500 years before Jesus' birth. These details provided critical knowledge about the coming change like Isaiah’s prophetic proclamation about the coming suffering servant which reads “Surely He took on our infirmities and carried our sorrows; yet we considered Him stricken by God, struck down and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” or the detail about the Thirty Pieces of Silver that would be paid for Jesus' betrayal which was explicitly communicated in Zechariah 11 when he prophesied “So they weighed out my wages, thirty pieces of silver. And the LORD said to me, “Throw it to the potter”—this magnificent price at which they valued me. Of course we know, this prophesied detail from about 500 years prior, was fulfilled when Judas was paid 30 pieces of silver by the Chief Priest to betray Jesus.
This sustained “communication campaign” reached generations through Scripture, synagogue teaching, and prophetic voices, setting expectations across an entire nation and providing critical insights to help them gain key knowledge about the coming change.
Within this landscape, distinct stakeholder groups emerged: the general population, religious leaders, political authorities, marginalized communities, and a small group of faithful observers or “early adopters” that were awaiting fulfillment. Among the most notable early adopters were individuals like the wise men, Simeon, and Anna, who recognized the Messiah at His arrival.
Earlier prophecies like that of Micah 5:2 confirmed where and who Jesus would come from. The scripture reads “And you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, being small among the thousands of Judah: From you will come forth unto Me One to be Ruler in Israel, and his goings forth are of old, from everlasting.” Early adopters like Simeon and Anna illustrate spiritually attuned stakeholders primed by long-term active awareness and desire. They would have known exactly what to look for and where. as they awaited the savior from the line of King David. Simeon, having waited for the prophesied “consolation of Israel,” recognized the baby Jesus immediately as the Messiah, declaring Him “a light for revelation to the Gentiles” (Luke 2:30–32). Anna, a prophetess who had devoted decades to worship, similarly recognized Jesus as the Messiah right at his birth and communicated it to others, serving as a “change champion” for the hope he would bring (Luke 2:36–38). Of course we can’t call out change champions without discussing John the Baptist. He publicly proclaimed the coming of the Messiah and called for repentance—“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 3:2) this is a classic “change management tactic” to move people into urgent behavioral change. With so many that didn’t see the arrival of Jesus as the Messiah, these individuals demonstrate the importance of being actively aware and engaged in the lead up to a coming change.
When Jesus began His public ministry, which lasted approximately three years, He helped move stakeholders from awareness to knowledge and ability through high-impact communication and teaching, delivering 30+ live teachings and over 40 parables to audiences that often-reached thousands at a time. His broad reaching messages not only spoke to the current change underway, but also gave people insight into the way the change would be scaled in the future. In this, he was confirming an early Jewish prophecy that the Messiah would come not just once but twice, with two distinct roles — first as a suffering servant and later as a triumphant king.
Following Jesus’s brutal death and resurrection, the change entered its reinforcement and scaling phase. The initial committed group numbered about 120 believers based on accounts in Acts 1:15, but rapid growth followed: 3,000 were added in a single day, soon expanding to 5,000+ (Acts 2–4). This demonstrates a classic multiplication effect, where deeply trained stakeholders became ambassadors, spreading the message across regions and cultures, and the message of Christ is still spreading today.
If we look at the success metrics from this use case, one thing sticks out to me, a critical stakeholder group failed to navigate through the change journey successfully, you may already know who I am referring to - the religious leaders. You would have thought out of all people they would have been the biggest change champions and first ones on the early adopter list. But instead when the Messiah - Jesus arrives he scolds them. In Mark 7:6-7 he says “He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “ ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’
He even goes as far as to call them a synagogue of Satan and reprimands them that they didn’t recognize him or believe him because they belonged to their father, the devil, and told them they only wanted to carry out their father’s desires.
Shesh, pretty harsh language to a stakeholder group most would have expected to completely buy in.
So, I expect you have a few questions?
Why is it that of all people, it’s the religious leaders that totally missed the “North Star”
What was the point in that biblical use case?
And what does it have to do with those shocking “did you know statements” from our game?
Did you know...take 2
Just trust me, we’re getting there - but first let’s play another round of did you know.
Did you know that The 2026 Global Report on Food Crises, found that 266 million people across 47 countries experienced high levels of acute food insecurity in 2025 – nearly a quarter of the population analyzed and almost double the share recorded in 2016.
Did you know during a 2024 panel discussion at the World Economic Forum, University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership CEO Lindsay Hooper was quoted saying “We can’t do business on a dead planet. If we’re going to protect natural systems, one of the solutions is to bring nature onto the balance sheet.”
Did you know that in 2020 the U.S. The Department of State and NASA co-launched the Artemis Accords to bring together a diverse set of nations with a shared vision of peaceful space cooperation and that as of May 2026 there were 67 signatories? (biblical text to explore)
Did you know that the Department of State helped repair and restore the iconic Ishtar Gate at Iraq's Ancient City of Babylon through the US embassy in Baghdad. (biblical text to explore)

Did you know that the Pentagon recently released over 160 declassified UFO files including videos and photos and that Dr. Hal Puthoff, a former CIA-funded researcher claims that the United States has recovered four distinct species of extraterrestrial life from crashed UFOs? (biblical text to explore)
Did you know that the Statue of Liberty’s official title is “Liberty Enlightening the World” and is an image of the goddess the pagan goddess Libertas from the Great Seal of France. Did you know that this goddess also has overt ties to various other pagan deities from around the world including the Babylonian goddess Ishtar, known as the “Queen of Heaven” who also wears a crown that is ringed with stars. (overview video) - (biblical text to explore)
Okay one more just for the wow effect.
Did you know that in June 2016 the Gotthard Base Tunnel, the world's longest and deepest rail tunnel was unveiled with a satanic ritual ceremony featuring a goat-man who dies and is resurrected, women simulating lesbian sex with each other and drone-like human workers marching to a rhythmic drumbeat. (biblical text to explore)
Bonus fun fact for readers: Did you know Emmanuel Macron was sworn in as president of France on May 14, 2017, winning 66.06% of the vote. He has shared his interest in building a new world order based on Peace, Predictability, and Stability. (interesting insights and biblical text to explore)
Okay, now let’s connect the dots.
Eternal Change Management in Practice
In Isaiah 42:9 it is written, “Everything I prophesied has come true, and now I will prophesy again. I will tell you the future before it happens.”
Putting back on our change management lenses, we know that one of God’s most impactful methods of communication is prophecy. As a matter of fact he confirms this in Amos 3:7 when he says “Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.”
Okay, so if we know that there were countless prophetic cues that pointed to the first arrival of the Messiah as the suffering servant, and those same prophecies indicated that there would be a second coming of Christ as the triumphant king, then we need to assess the change management journey for the second coming to make sense of these Did you know statements and much of the other strange events taking place around us.
Before we dive back into our change journey, let’s address what some may be thinking. Many Christians will say, “No one knows the day or the hour” (Matthew 24:36) and that is absolutely true, but in Luke 21:36 he instructs us to “Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” So, I think it’s wise for us to reflect on the lesson learned from the religious leaders, the shocking stakeholder group who was reprimanded because they failed to adopt the first change, and recognize that awareness does not equate to readiness.
We know the religious leaders knew the Scriptures. They studied the prophecies, yet when who they had been learning about arrived, they missed him. In ADKAR terms, they had Awareness, but they lacked true Desire to receive it, Ability to recognize it, and ultimately failed in adopting the change they had been searching for. Now, the good thing is unlike the first coming, we don’t have to worry about actually missing the second coming because, as part of Jesus' awareness campaign he confirmed that “For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
One more thing, before we go forward, I want to clarify that this is not about predicting timelines, this is about adhering to his call to remain watchful. The importance of watchfulness was emphasized with more than just the oversight of the past religious leaders, we also get additional warning in Hosea 4:6 he says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. In Isaiah 5:13 he says “therefore my people will go into exile for lack of understanding, and in Jeremiah 25:4 we learn that though the Lord has sent all his servants the prophets to you again and again you have not listened or paid any attention. I think it’s clear, we can know the message and still be unprepared for the moment.
This is where the Did you know statements become important.
The Word of God tells us to “Be always on the watch, and pray that we will be able to escape all that is about to happen…Luke 21:36,” but in order to be on watch, we have to know what to watch for!
We’ll pick back up on the first use case but shift our focus to the plan to scale, we know that scripture indicates the Messiah returning as the triumphant king scale, but what else happens, what are milestones before this and the milestones after the second coming...how does it all end?
As we previously discussed for over two thousand years, humanity has been living within a unique and ongoing transformation effort centered on the promised return of the Messiah. What began with approximately 120 believers has since grown to influence over 2 billion people worldwide. Today, with Scripture translated into 3,700+ languages and missionary presence in nearly every country, the message has reached a truly global scale, working to fulfill the prophecy “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations...” (Matthew 24:14).
Yet Jesus did not simply tell people to watch—He told them what to watch for. He described a series of unmistakable signs that would accompany this long process of preparation, some more general, some very specific. He said there would be a rebirth of Israel, which of course was fulfilled in May 1948, he said spoke of wars and rumors of wars, nation rising against nation, and natural disruptions such as earthquakes and famines (Matthew 24:6–7). He warned of increasing lawlessness and moral decline: “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12). He also spoke of widespread deception, global distress, and growing instability—signals that serve as ongoing reinforcement indicators that the change is progressing.
But perhaps most intriguing is how Jesus described the conditions of the world, not just the signs themselves. He said the end would be like the days of Noah and the days of Lot:
“People were eating, drinking, marrying… until the day Noah entered the ark” (Luke 17:26–27)
“People were buying and selling, planting and building… the day Lot left Sodom” (Luke 17:28–29)
These key messages are important, because they tell us life will appear normal on the surface, even as the underlying conditions signal impending change. They also invite us to look closer, in change management terms to read the other communications about this update so we can have a better understanding. So let’s just double click on the biblical account of Noah. It begins in Genesis 6, approximately 1,600 years after the creation of Adam and Eve and approximately 2500 to 3000 years before Jesus, the Messiah, was born.
Typically, when most people think about Noah, they think about the ark and the flood, but oftentimes we forget WHY he built the Ark and why he out of all people was saved. So, let’s see what the word says. If you want to read along with me, turn in your bible to Genesis 6:1-9 NIV, I’m reading from the NIV version.
When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with[a] humans forever, for they are mortal[b]; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”
4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
5 The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. 6 The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7 So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord…Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.
Okay so what in summary, I’d say the days of Noah were marked by total moral collapse, violence, corruption, biological manipulation, and indifference to God, alongside a complete rejection of truth.
And if we were to read the account of Lot in Gen 19 we’d find a similar story. In both people despite all the wickedness and chaos people were still going about their routine activities; business as usual despite the escalating signals, warnings and disruptions.
But the bible isn't full of foresight and prophecy just to give readers awareness. The purpose of these signs is to shape Desire—to motivate people to respond to what they see. The future state is clearly outlined: "And the One seated on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Then He said, “Write this down, for these words are faithful and true.” 6And He told me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give freely from the spring of the water of life. 7The one who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.
8But to the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.” (21:5-8)
This dual message is meant to create urgency; both a hope to move toward and a consequence to avoid.
We're also given knowledge for how to proceed forward successfully, what to expect, and what it cost. “Repent and believe the good news” (Mark 1:15) and “Live holy and godly lives as you look forward…” (2 Peter 3:11–12). He tells all that follow him “those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. (Revelations 3:19).”
These teachings have been preserved, translated, and distributed globally, ensuring that the expectations are not hidden and are easily accessible to nearly everyone.
To move from knowing to doing, Ability is gained through the power of the Holy Spirit as promised in Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you” and a decentralized global network of community support as discussed in Hebrews 10:25 “do not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Today, millions of churches and faith communities provide structure, support, and accountability, helping individuals live in alignment with the instructions, so that all stakeholders “be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” (James 1:22)
Because the exact timing of the event is unknown, the change process depends heavily on Reinforcement communications. For more than 2,000 years, the message has been repeated: stay ready, stay watchful. The signs themselves; conflict, moral shifts, and global proclamation, function as constant reminders that the timeline is moving forward. As Scripture says: “when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.” (Matthew 24:33).
What has been communicated, signaled, and reinforced over millennia will come to pass like all the prophecies of the past. This comprehensive change management plan is still underway to ensure ALL stakeholders will be ready once we reach go-live. It’s up to us to be actively aware and engaged in the lead up to a coming change. Just like Anna and Simeon during the first phase.
So, what now? Well, we should “Be always on the watch…” (Luke 21:36) not just passively, but actively: Knowing the message, which requires being in the word to understand what is to come, Recognizing the signs, Understanding the conditions (like Noah and Lot), and choosing how to respond faithfully so that we’ll be ready by consecrating ourselves so that we may stand blameless when the time comes.
Because the defining feature of this change is not that it is hidden, it is happening among the chaos that it is happening in plain sight while life continues as normal. If any of those, Did You Know statements took you by surprise, I encourage you to check out the links and dive deeper. Trust me that is just the tip of the iceberg, there are so many more that I believe align directly with the key signs we’ve been instructed to look for.
For those that profess faith in Christ, I encourage you to invite the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to see, to search your heart, and to lead you in obedience with his will! As stated in 1 Corinthians 2:10 “These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.”
But I will also leave you with a warning from John, who reminds us of the importance of testing the Spirit behind any information you find or teaching you receive.
1Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2By this you will know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3and every spirit that does not confess Jesusa is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and which is already in the world at this time.
And in Luke, Jesus told us:
“Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth.
For those that don’t know Jesus Christ, or you have not been walking faithfully with him there is no better time than now to make that commitment.
Responding to Jesus is the most significant decision you will ever make. It isn’t about achieving perfection, but about receiving a grace that transforms your heart and your future. If you’re ready to say ‘yes’ to His invitation, here is how you can begin.
Romans 10:9 says “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
If you’re not quite sure of have questions, I encourage you to get curious and lean in more, because I promise you that the chaos we’re seeing right now is only going to increase.
Let’s pray.
Heavenly Father, Spirit of the Living God, I thank you that your word is everlasting, and that you loved us enough to give us divine insight into the future. Lord, I pray that you would search our hearts, know our anxious ways. Lord I repent that I have not always been obedient to your call or abided by your desire for me to live in alignment with your will. I thank you for grace and mercy. I ask that you would reveal areas in our heart that are offensive to you and that the Holy Spirit would help us grow in faithfulness so that we may be found blameless before you.
And for those that don’t know you or that are not fully surrendered to you, I pray that you would nudge their hearts God and reveal your truth to them so that they can turn away from the ways of this world which corrupt and defile us and that they would seek you with their whole heart, and mind, and soul. I ask these things in your son Jesus’ name. Amen.
